Landlords please be advised: As of Friday March 5th, Governor Pritzker has extended the eviction moratorium to April 3rd. The below has also been added to the eviction procedures:
If a tenant delivers an Illinois Tenant Declaration to the landlord after the filing of an eviction action, the landlord may only proceed if the tenant poses a direct health and safety thread to other tenants, or if they are an immediate and severe risk to the property.
