5 Things to do in Chicago to Celebrate Pride Month

With June in full swing, it’s never too late to get your pride on! From baseball games to street festivals, here are five ways to celebrate Pride Month in Chicago this summer. 

Baseball Pride Celebrations: June 13th & June 17th

Chicago’s signature sport teams, the Cubs and the White Sox, are hosting dedicated pride nights to show their support for diversity and inclusion. 

Make your way to Wrigleyville on June 13th for the Pride Celebration at Wrigley Field. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through the special ticket offer here: Pride Celebration. The night will begin with a pre-game performance by the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus at Gallagher way. Special guests will throw the first pitch, face painting will be available for all guests, in addition to more fun festivities!

On June 17th, Guaranteed Rate will be hosting their Pride Night presented by Vizzy Hard Seltzer. Specially priced tickets are available online: Pride Night. The first 10,000 21+ guests will receive a free limited edition Chicago White Sox Pride shirt, designed by local artist Sandra Antongiori.

Chicago Pride Fest: June 17-18

Get your Pride on at the Chicago Pride Fest, a two day street festival in Northalsted with over 150 food trucks and live music and entertainment featuring local LGBTQ+  artists. 

Navy Pier Pride: June 24

Navy Pier Pride is a free, full-day event dedicated to celebrating and supporting our LBTQ+ community. Chicago Pride Parade: June 25th

The Chicago Pride Parade, Chicago’s second largest parade, will be taking place on June 25th. The 52nd annual parade is a four mile march starting at Montrose and Broadway ending  Lincoln Park. Join community members,  in the march or watch the procession of decorated vehicles, colorful floats, 

Pride in the Park: June 26-27

Ring in Pride Month with Pride in the Park, a free two day festival located downtown in Grant Park. Entry is free for all those who want to attend, a voluntary donation is encouraged for all attendees. Check out the incredible performance line up online here: Pride in the Park.
