Chicago Jazz Festival
The Chicago Jazz Festival is the city’s oldest free lakefront music festival, and it features a diverse lineup of artists. The Chicago Jazz Festival includes free neighborhood concerts leading up to the main event at Millennium Park, with additional programming throughout the city over Labor Day weekend. West Loop Art Fest
The highly popular West Loop Art Fest returns for its sixth year on Saturday and Sunday, August 31st and September 1st, in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant Fulton Market. Spanning four blocks of incredible art, the West Loop Art Fest is a must-see event! West Loop Art Fest is free admission to the public, and the festival showcases a diverse range of art mediums from talented artists nationwide, all available for purchase.
African Festival of the Arts
The African Festival of the Arts offers a culturally immersive and interactive experience, bringing the art, sights, tastes, sounds, and spirituality of African cultures to the streets of Chicago. The festival provides the entire family with a plethora of fun activities and memorable experiences at an affordable cost! Taste of Polonia
The annual Taste of Polonia Festival in Chicago features non-stop live music, food, and entertainment for four days from August 30th-September 2nd. This family-friendly event offers activities for all ages, including bounce inflatables, a climbing wall, face painting, clowns, and carnival rides. Place your bets at the casino, expand your palate with cooking classes and tastings, and enjoy over 30 local vendors all Labor Day weekend! Navy Pier Summer Fireworks
Last call to experience the iconic Navy Pier Fireworks this summer! From Independence Day to Labor Day, this impressive fireworks display is the perfect free event to enjoy with friends and family.
